I.Lines Worth Keeping

The weekend's other doors, in the sponsors' own words.

❧
“Build on or integrate any part of the Uniswap stack, including the Uniswap API, the Uniswap AMM (v2, v3, or v4), CCA, or any other Uniswap protocol.”
Uniswap Foundation · the brief — official Tokyo 2026 prize page
❧
“Build programmable payment systems and financial applications on Sui that move, manage, and transform money intelligently.”
Sui · the brief — official Tokyo 2026 prize page
❧
“We judge the moment of decision, not the size of the project: how clearly the risk shows up, how naturally it fits the payment flow, and whether an agent's owner would trust it with real money.”

II.🦄 Uniswap Foundation — $10,000

“The Uniswap Protocol is one of the largest decentralized exchange protocol for swapping value onchain across Ethereum and other supported blockchains. The Uniswap ecosystem has evolved into a full stack platform for onchain finance, including smart contracts such as v2, v3, and v4, developer tools, APIs, and emerging infrastructure like Unichain. This enables developers to build applications on top of shared, permissionless liquidity.”

🦄Best Uniswap Stack Contribution — $6,000 · scratch track

🥇 $3,000 · 🥈 $2,000 · 🥉 $1,000.

“Build on or integrate any part of the Uniswap stack, including the Uniswap API, the Uniswap AMM (v2, v3, or v4), CCA, or any other Uniswap protocol. This also includes new v4 hooks, extensions or improvements to official Uniswap repositories, and tooling or solutions built for the broader ecosystem.”

The qualification requirements:

  • A public GitHub repository with open-source code.
  • A FEEDBACK.md file, and a completed submission to the Uniswap Developer Feedback Form (developers.uniswap.org/hackathon-feedback) that includes the link to your FEEDBACK.md.
  • The README must clearly point to the relevant contracts and lines of code, so the integration can be verified.

🆕 The same track exists on the continuity track at $4,000 (🥇 $2,000 · 🥈 $1,000 · 🥉 $1,000), same brief and bar.

📺The workshop — recorded & online

“How to Navigate the Uniswap Stack” — a hands-on intro to the full Uniswap ecosystem: the Uniswap API, v4 hooks, Uniswap AI, and open-source tooling — by Angela Ocando, Friday, Sep 25 · 4:30 PM JST · 5F Workshop Room. Recorded in the room and posted the same day: watch the session ↗

III.💰 Sui — $5,000

“The Sui Stack is a modular ecosystem for trustless coordination, privacy, and scalable apps. Builders can combine storage, access control, compute, and coordination layers based on their specific use case.”

💰DeFi & Payments — $5,000 · scratch track

🥇 $2,500 · 🥈 $1,500 · 🥉 $1,000.

“Build programmable payment systems and financial applications on Sui that move, manage, and transform money intelligently, creating more seamless, automated, and composable financial experiences beyond traditional DeFi.”

Qualifying systems move, manage, and transform money programmatically:

  • Payment flows
  • Wallets and financial interfaces
  • Vaults and capital allocators
  • Automation systems
  • Financial abstractions for real users

📺The workshop — recorded & online

“Get started on Sui through Agentic Engineering” — by Raphael Chia, Friday, Sep 25 · 3:30 PM JST · 5F Workshop Room. Recorded in the room and posted the same day: watch the session ↗

IV.🏦 Curvegrid — $3,000

“Curvegrid is a leading provider of blockchain application development tools and digital asset solutions. Curvegrid helps developers implement DApps faster, easier, and more efficiently so you can concentrate on what really matters to your application.” Three tracks of $1,000 each — using their MultiBaas platform is not a requirement for any of them.

🏦Best RWA Tokenization Project — $1,000

“Turn real-world assets into programmable, composable digital primitives.” Their ideas to explore: on-chain treasuries · invoice financing · real-estate shares · supply-chain assets · stablecoins · programmable asset controls (permissions, limits, allowlists, approval workflows).

📊Best Digital Asset Dashboard — $1,000

“Build a dashboard that helps users understand their digital assets, identify actions that need to be taken, and make better operational decisions.” Ideas: RWA analytics · treasury management · DeFi analytics · cross-chain views.

🤖Best AI Agent Project — $1,000

“What happens when AI agents can understand blockchain activity and take action on-chain?” Ideas: an AI treasury agent · a stablecoin payment agent · an on-chain monitoring agent · a portfolio intelligence agent · a policy-aware transaction agent · agent-to-agent payments.

✅The bar for all three

Judging is based on the idea and the technical execution: a GitHub repository with the project artifacts (contracts, tests, documentation) and a solid README — a one-sentence summary · how MultiBaas was used (optional) · a brief team intro with social handles · clear setup and testing instructions · the MultiBaas experience, if used.

📺 Their workshop — “Stablecoins, AI Agents, and the Future of On-chain Apps”, by Jeff Wentworth (featuring Curvegrid's Matsuri Stablecoin Sample App), Friday, Sep 25 · 4:00 PM JST · 5F Workshop Room — was recorded and posted the same day: watch the session ↗

V.🛡️ Intercepta — $2,500

“Intercepta is a real-time security and compliance layer for onchain payments. One API call screens a wallet, contract, token, signature or transaction and returns a clear verdict with the reasons behind it: sanctions and AML exposure, scam and phishing attribution, drainer approvals, fake tokens, simulated balance changes. As agents start paying each other over x402, that check has to live inside the payment flow: before an agent signs a payment, and before a service accepts one.” Trust Wallet, 1inch and P2P.org already use it — and every hacker gets a free sandbox key with 1,000 requests at intercepta.io/ethglobal.

🛡️Safe Agent-to-Agent Payments with x402 — $2,000

🥇 $1,250 · 🥈 $750 — scratch track.

“Agents are starting to pay each other: for an API call, a dataset, compute or another agent's work, often over x402. Most of those payments get signed with no one checking who is on the other side. Build the check that makes agent-to-agent payments safe. Use the Intercepta API inside an agent payment flow, so every payment is screened before the agent signs it or the service accepts it. Show the verdict in the flow and let it decide what happens next: pay, refuse, cap the amount or ask a human.”

The qualification requirements:

  • A working agent payment flow — x402 preferred; payments can run on a testnet.
  • At least one live call to the Intercepta API (free key at intercepta.io/ethglobal) runs before a payment is signed or accepted, and its result decides what happens next — mocked or hard-coded responses don't qualify.
  • Their risk data covers mainnet, so screen real mainnet addresses even when the payment runs on a testnet; test addresses with known risks are pinned in their Discord channel.
  • The demo shows one payment that goes through and one that is blocked or held, with the reason visible.
  • A public GitHub repo; the README points to the files where the API is called and includes 3–5 lines of feedback on the API.

🆕 And on the continuity track, $500: “Add Payment Screening to Your Agent or x402 Service” — ship one feature this weekend: an Intercepta check at the moment money moves between agents, inside the product you already maintain.

❧ Mahalo ❧

Mahalo, Uniswap, Sui, Curvegrid & Intercepta — for widening the weekend's doors: hooks, payments, real-world assets, and a guard at the moment money moves.
