I.The Shelf
Six pages — the briefing before the doors, the ceremony that opened the night, and the four prize-canon pages of the weekend's sponsors.
What to Expect at ETHGlobal Tokyo 2026
The official pre-event briefing: the weekend hour by hour, the two tracks, the AI policy in the open, and the craft of a clean submission — walked through on the real hacker dashboard.
二The Opening Ceremony
Friday 20:00 JST, main stage — the ceremony happened in the room, and only in the room. What is officially known, and an honest note that no recording exists.
三World at Tokyo 2026
Four tracks, one question: what becomes possible when an application can ask for a human? The full prize canon — plus the tape of “World's latest products (IDP vs IDKit).”
四ENS at Tokyo 2026
“ENSv2 beta is now live on Sepolia — be among the first to build on it.” Both ENSv2 tracks, verbatim — plus the tape of “Identity for Apps, Agents & Beyond.”
五1inch at Tokyo 2026
“Create a custom Aqua app that implements a sophisticated DeFi position.” Both Aqua tracks, verbatim — plus the tape of “Reimagining the AMM with 1inch Aqua.”
六More Prize Tracks
Hooks, payments, real-world assets, and a guard at the moment money moves — four more Tokyo 2026 prize sets, verbatim, with three more workshop tapes.
II.The Law of This Shelf
Honesty about what exists and what doesn't.
Every page here is Tokyo 2026: the official pre-event briefing (streamed September 16, 2026), the official prize page (captured verbatim on September 25, 2026), and the ceremony itself. If a session wasn't streamed, we say so — no proxies, no stand-ins.
As of the night of September 25: all six Friday workshops — ENS, Sui, Curvegrid, Uniswap, 1inch, and World — were recorded in the room and posted the same day to ETHGlobal's official YouTube channel, and they are linked from their pages here. The opening ceremony was not streamed and has no public recording (checked on the official ETHGlobal YouTube channel, the event page, and web search); its page says so plainly. If a recording surfaces, we'll link it.
III.The Sister Reading
The philosophical root — from ETHGlobal's first Tokyo event, three springs earlier.
IV.About These Pages
Made with gratitude, kept honest.
The briefing was transcribed from the public stream (with Whisper ASR) and lightly edited for readability; the prize canons are kept verbatim from the official ETHGlobal Tokyo 2026 prize page; the workshop tapes belong to ETHGlobal and their presenters. These are fan-made tributes, built with respect for everyone named.
